Hurricane Storm Damage - Panhandle

After a Hurricane or Tornado ravished the Panama City area we were dispersed to help the local franchise as they received thousands of phone calls.  Since they also suffered damage and the staff was affected they were in need of SERVPRO Storm Team to assist.  

Being part of the Storm Team we were called to assist.  Our staff Ronnie, Keith & Barbara immediately were dispersed to help along with two contractors we use locally to remove trees and tarp roofs where needed.  

The above photos contain a before and after photo depicting a basement that was affected by rising water as well as roof damage coming from where the roof was torn off.  

Panel walls are not found as often as they used to be, however we do come across them occasionally and in this scenario - we chose to remove them.  

The thought process is that rising water can carry contaminants into the home and not knowing what sort of contaminants for the health of the home we chose to remove them.  

Once that was done we used an EPA registered antimicrobial and treated the wall framing and floor to control any contaminants that might be present.
