In the world of technology and smart devices most people think of Alexa or Google, but what about devices to assist with fire and water damage prevention?

There are now Smart Smoke detectors which will give you a higher level of protection. They can pair with a mobile app to send an alert to your phone if it detects anything unusual. Some smart smoke detectors can incorporate into your homes security system and then sends an alert to you and the fire department.

Smart fire detectors works like the smart smoke detector as it will send an alert when indoor temperatures reach a pre-determined level. Lastly there is also a smart water detector, you can put them near plumbing fixtures that may leak such as bathtubs, sinks or washing machines. When it detects high water or moisture it will set off an alarm or send an alert to your phone.
