Tips for Creating a Successful Emergency Ready Plan

With Hurricane Season upon us let's not forget things you can do to prepare.   An ERP is a specific set of guidelines to assist in this preparation.  SERVPRO has set up a specific plan to assist you using these guidelines.  

1. Let the professionals help you. Work with an emergency restoration company for assistance in creating your emergency ready profile.
2. Identify and label utility shut-off locations.
3. Identify local utility contact information.
4. Identify local emergency contact information such as fire, police, and hospital contacts.
5. Establish main internal contacts for purposes of employee safety and emergency work authorization.
